I'm in love with an 8bit is a self project that consists of a series of stories that focus on how easily we fall for illusions, whether of ourselves or others. A test shoot was done in Bangkok for The Dark Web looking at different film and lighting styles, locations, models and costume. The test shoot coincided with a fashion brief from Mastered UK in October 2018, which wanted my interpretation of the word community. I used the test shoot as my interpretation as it creates a community and the story had a focus on the online community.
The Dark Web is a story about some of the illusions we create of ourselves online and the dangers that can bring.
